Job Responsibilities
• Manage cardiac cases including CABG, valve procedures, TAVR, MitraClip, LAA ligation, and EP cases
• Deliver anesthesia care across cardiac and non-cardiac specialties including Ortho, OB/GYN, GI, ENT, Spine, and Cath Lab
• Participate in weekday, weekend, and call rotation schedules
• Document patient care using Medaxion EMR system
• Collaborate with APPs, surgeons, hospital staff, and multidisciplinary cardiac teams
Qualifications
• Active Florida medical license required or ability to obtain
• Active DEA required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Must be able to work 2 weeks on / 1 week off cardiac schedule
• Must provide 24 months of case logs upon credentialing approval
• Clean background required with no pending clinical or legal cases
Working Hours
• Shift options include: 7a–3p, 7a–5p, and 7a–7p
• Weekend and on-call coverage required
• Ongoing locum tenens assignment
• Minimum 20 shifts per month preferred
