We are seeking Board Certified / Board Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologists for an exciting permanent opportunity in Albany, New York. This role offers the chance to work in a high-volume cardiac program alongside an experienced surgical and anesthesia team.

Cases per Day: 6–8 Cardiac Cases
This is a high-volume inpatient heart center supporting a growing cardiac surgery program.
🩺 Clinical Responsibilities
-
Provide anesthesia for complex cardiac procedures, including:

CABG
-
Valve replacements
-
Advanced cardiovascular surgeries
-

Conduct pre-operative evaluations
-
Manage post-operative anesthesia care
-
Collaborate with cardiac surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
-
Help develop and improve anesthesia protocols and patient care processes
Physicians also provide anesthesia for a variety of additional procedures including orthopedic, pediatric, general surgery, and endoscopic cases.

Support from experienced CRNAs and surgical teams

No requirement to supervise CRNAs

Primarily cardiac and vascular cases

No OB or trauma coverage
⏰ Call Schedule

1:5 rotation

First call every eighth night

No second call

Weekend call only as scheduled

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
