I’m supporting a Cardiac (CV) Anesthesiology opportunity at a Level I Trauma Center in Virginia. This role requires strong cardiac experience with a mix of in-house day coverage and home call. Providers must be comfortable working solo and/or supervising CRNAs on complex cardiac cases.

HIGHLIGHTS
• Level I Trauma Center with Cardiac, Burn, and Pediatric services
• In-house day shifts + home call
• Solo or CRNA-supervision model
• Adult cardiac case focus
• Ongoing assignment
• Emergency/temporary privileges may be available
• Orientation required onsite prior to start
SCHEDULE
• In-house weekday shifts: 7a–3p (Monday–Friday)
• Home call: 3p–7a (Monday–Friday)
• Weekend home call: 24 hours Saturday and Sunday
• Providers must be willing to take call
CASE MIX
• Adult cardiac anesthesia
• Cardiac surgical cases
• Level I trauma support
• Providers expected to manage cases independently or supervise CRNAs

• 466-bed facility
• Level I Trauma Center
• CRNA support available
• EMR systems include Expanse, Meditech, Medaxion, Qgenda, Patient Keeper
REQUIREMENTS
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist
• Current medical license or ability to obtain
• DEA and CSR required
• Must be comfortable soloing and supervising cardiac cases
• Name clear required
• Credentialing timeframe: ~90 days (emergency/temporary privileges may be requested)
