Locums Cardiac Anesthesiologist in Charleston, WV - up to $430 hourly & long term contract

Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Cardiac Anesthesiologist to provide locum services in Charleston, West Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for a Physician seeking flexible scheduling and a rewarding work environment within a multi-facility float pool. Coverage is needed starting June 1, 2026, and is expected to continue through December 2026.

Job Details:

• Case Types: Full spectrum of Cardiac surgical procedures, including Kidney transplants (no liver, heart, or lung transplants).

• Setting: Hospital float pool; providers must be willing to cover CAMC General Hospital, Memorial Hospital, or Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

• Schedule: Mostly 10-hour shifts starting at 07:00; some 8-hour and 12-hour shifts possible. Physicians are released incrementally as cases are completed. Call is not guaranteed but may be requested.

• Support: Must be willing to supervise CRNAs.

• EMR System: Cerner.

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required (ABA).

• State License: West Virginia license, IMLC, or qualify for a WV temporary license.

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and TEE certification.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac experience.

• Other: Active DEA and CSR required.
