Aya Healthcare is seeking a Cardiac Anes MD for 1099 coverage in Charleston, WV. This role supports a major regional system with a steady caseload across several hospital sites. Charleston offers a walkable downtown with historic architecture and a strong local community presence.
Job Details
- Start: June 1st, 2026
- Contract Length: June through December
- Coverage: Scheduled shifts, no guaranteed call
- Shift Times:
- Standard 7am start
- Mostly 10-hour shifts
- Some 8’s and 12’s, but 12’s cannot be promised
- Daily Flow: Providers released in stages as cases finish throughout the day
Work Details
- Settings: Multiple hospital locations within the same system
- Patient Population: Adults
- Procedures: Broad surgical case mix; only kidney transplants performed
- EMR: EPIC
- Must be willing to supervise CRNAs
Requirements
- Board Certified
- WV license required
- DEA required & CSR required
- Required Certifications: ABA, ACLS, BLS
- Minimum 2 years’ experience including Peds, OB, and/or Cardiac
