Position: Locum Anesthesiologist – Cardiac & Regional Anesthesia Coverage
Location: Bismarck, ND 58501
Start Date: April 2026
Duration: One week per month, ongoing
Schedule / Availability:

One week coverage per month starting April 2026

Initially 5–10 hour day shifts, adding call coverage as you become familiar with the facility
Highlights:

High-value locum assignment: $420/hr day shift

Cardiac and regional anesthesia cases included
-
Medical direction practice model: no more than 1:4 CRNA oversight

Shifts: 16 hours weekdays / 24 hours weekends (in-house restricted call)

Job Responsibilities
Provide regional anesthesia for orthopedics: adductor, interscalene, popliteal, supraclavicular blocks
Cover labor & delivery anesthesia
Manage all cardiac anesthesia cases personally
In-house restricted call (C1) and home-based unrestricted call (C2) for emergent cardiac cases
Qualifications
Board Certified Anesthesiologist
ND License or IMLC accepted
Clean malpractice
BLS, ACLS, PALS – required
Self-Query NPDB report (within 30 days at presentation)
Working Hours
$420/hr – Day shift
Orientation: $200/hr
24-hour On Call: $4,000 (4 hours free)
Holiday 24-hour On Call: $5,000
Call back: $440/hr
Holiday Call back: $550/hr
Travel, lodging, car rental, and mileage provided
Credentialing:
Credentialing timeframe: ~90 days
CV: Chronological, no gaps >60 days without explanation
