• Locum anesthesiologist needed for cardiac anesthesia coverage
• Opportunity for locum or locum-to-perm
• Coverage starting January 2026 due to permanent vacancy
• Adult surgical case mix with cardiac focus
• Cerner EMR environment
• Opportunity for locum or locum-to-perm
• Coverage starting January 2026 due to permanent vacancy
• Adult surgical case mix with cardiac focus
• Cerner EMR environment
Job Responsibilities
• Perform general, regional, spinal, and IV regional anesthesia
• Insert and manage TEE, PA catheter, arterial line, and central line
• Supervise CRNAs
• Manage ventilation and perioperative anesthesia care
Qualifications
• Active New Jersey medical license (required)
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Cardiac Anesthesia fellowship preferred
• Strong experience in cardiac and complex vascular anesthesia
• Prior CRNA supervision experience required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
Working Hours
• Weekday shifts with optional night and weekend call
• Schedule varies based on surgical volume
Skills
• TEE and invasive line placement
• Adult anesthesia case management
• Team leadership and supervision
• EMR documentation
