Excellent full-time opportunities are available for Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologists to join a well-established, reputable private practice in the Albany region of Upstate New York.
Position Highlights

High-volume inpatient heart center

Primarily cardiac and vascular cases

No OB or trauma

No CRNA supervision required

Collaborative environment working closely with cardiac surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
Job Responsibilities
Practice Setting: High-volume inpatient cardiac center
Operating Rooms: 30
Average Cardiac Cases per Day: 6–8
Schedule: Variable 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
Call Schedule:
1:5 call rotation
First call every 8th night
No second call
Qualifications
Provide anesthesia care for cardiac surgical procedures, including:
CABG
Valve repair and replacement
Complex cardiac surgeries
Participate in pre-operative evaluations and post-operative cardiac care
Deliver general and regional anesthesia across a variety of procedures, including cardiac, vascular, orthopedic, pediatric, obstetric, endoscopic, cosmetic, and general surgery cases
Collaborate closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Patient Population
Primarily adult and geriatric patients
Some pediatric exposure
Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (within 5 years) – Required
ECHO Board Certified and/or Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship trained – Required
Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship – Highly Preferred
New York medical license (or willingness to obtain) – Required
BLS, ACLS, PALS (by start date) – Required
Working Hours
Variable 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
On-call responsibilities as outlined above

Base Compensation: $650,000 annually
(Starting range; does not include productivity bonuses, quality incentives, extra shift pay, or additional compensation)
