🫀 Cardiac Anesthesiologist – Locum / Locum-to-Perm Opportunity!
📍 Galloway, NJ 08240
🔍 Position Overview
An excellent opportunity for a Cardiac Anesthesiologist seeking a locum or locum-to-perm role with a diverse surgical case mix and flexible scheduling. This role offers consistent coverage needs starting January 2026.
🕒 Schedule & Coverage
- Varied 8–12 hour shifts starting at 7 AM
- Weekday coverage required
- Weekend & night call available but not mandator
🩺 Role Responsibilities
You will handle a full range of advanced anesthesia cases, including:
- General Surgical (Adult)
- IV Regional & Plexus Anesthesia
- Open Heart Anesthesia
- Thoracic (non-open-heart)
- Complex Vascular (non-open-heart)
- Spinal & Regional Anesthesia
- Local Infiltration & Ventilation Management
Procedural Insertions
- TEE
- PA Catheter
- Arterial Line
- Central Line
Supervision:
- Responsible for supervising CRNAs
🧾 Requirements
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology
- Active New Jersey Medical License (required)
- ACLS & BLS
- Experience with open heart, thoracic (non-OH), complex vascular cases
- Experience inserting TEE, PA Catheter, arterial & central lines
- Ability to supervise CRNAs
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Cardiac Anesthesia fellowship preferred
