Job Responsibilities
• Provide anesthesia for cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and general surgical procedures
• Perform TEE, PA catheter, arterial, and central line insertions
• Supervise CRNAs and ensure safe anesthesia care delivery
• Manage regional, spinal, and ventilation anesthesia
• Document procedures and patient care using Cerner EMR
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Anesthesiology – Required
• Active NJ Medical License – Required
• BLS & ACLS Certified – Required
• Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia – Preferred
• Strong experience in cardiac, thoracic (non-open heart), and complex vascular cases
• Proficiency with TEE and line placements
Working Hours
Varied 8–12 hour shifts (start at 7 AM) | Weekend & night call optional
Skills
• Expertise in cardiac and regional anesthesia
• Strong leadership in supervising CRNAs
• Precision, composure, and team collaboration
