Practice Setting:

Hospital-based with occasional ASC coverage if no cardiac cases are scheduled

8 ORs in use at a time

Trauma Level II
-
EMR: Cerner (transitioning to Epic)

Primarily solo cases; may work with CRNA students

Must cover general cases when no cardiac scheduled
-
Approx. 90 open-heart cases projected for the year
Qualifications
TEE certified (must read & bill)
Cardiac fellowship preferred or extensive experience
BLS, ACLS, PALS – Required
Iowa license or IMLC (LOQ at name clear)
COVID vaccinated
Must be available for all listed dates
