We’re seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a high-paying locum opportunity in Asheville, NC. This is a Monday–Friday, no call position at a top-tier acute care facility. See below for details:
📍 Location: Asheville, NC
🗓️ Start Date: Jan 2026
📋 Contract Length: 13 weeks (with potential for 6+ months)
⏳ Credentialing Timeframe: Active NC license required – no licensing assistance
💰 Pay Range: $350–$400/hr
🛏️ Travel/Lodging: Covered – receipts required for reimbursement
🕐 Schedule:
• Monday–Friday only (4 weeks/month)
• 8–10 hour shifts
• No weekends / No call
💼 Clinical Details:
• CV-focused role – 10–15 cardiac cases/day
• General case mix: OB, trauma, stroke, vascular, neuro, urology, ortho, robotics
• Must be able to do peripheral nerve blocks
• ~3500–4000 general cases/month
• MD/CRNA Care Team: 1:3 or 1:4 ratio
• EMR: Cerner & AIMS
• Support: Anesthesia techs onsite
• No craniotomies, transplants, or peds
✅ Requirements:
• Board Eligible or Board Certified – Anesthesiology
• Active North Carolina license required
• Cardiac experience required
