The University of Minnesota is seeking a full-time Division Director of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology. The academic rank, compensation and appointment track will be based on qualifications and experience.

The Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Division currently consists of a dedicated team of 10 cardiac anesthesiologists. All cardiac faculty have completed a formal cardiothoracic anesthesiology fellowship program and are Diplomates of the Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography.

Division Director of Cardiac Anesthesiology:

• Lead and build upon a dynamic team of 10 cardiac anesthesiologists and 2 fellows
• Works closely with the Critical Care and ICU teams, Cardiologists and other colleagues
• Take the program to the next level by constructing and implementing strategies for programmatic growth across the board regarding clinical, educational, and research programs.
• This position will include inpatient clinical services on our vibrant academic campus at the University of Minnesota Medical Center - a large metropolitan area with over 3 million people.
