- Trauma Level 3
- 4 ORs
- No local infiltration, no neurosurgical cases, no open heart, no thoracic, no complex vascular, no complex ortho, no acute or chronic pain management, no PA catheter
- Patient Age Demographic: (Adolescent, Child, Adult, Geriatric): 5%Adolescent, 2% Pediatric, 40% Adult, 40-50% Geriatric
- Average number of surgical cases per day: 18
- Average number of pain management cases: 4-6 weekly
- Requirements
- Board Certified Anesthesiology
- Active MI License
- Flue Vaccination
- COVID Vaccination - highly preferred
- Required cases: adult, peds, minor nerve blocks, IV regional anesthesia, OB epidural, some for general surgery, plexus anesthesia, ortho and spine, spinal anes, epidural anes, regional anes, OB cases, ventilation management, insertion of central line and arterial line, evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
- Supervise CRNAs - medical supervision model with some solo cases
- Call
- 1:4 call, 24 hour shifts
- Support Staff
- 4 Anesthesiologists in practice
- OR Staff: 13 RNs, 10 Surgical Technologists
