Physician or Nurse Practitioner – Allergy and Immunology, Allergist


A reputable and well-established Private Practice Group near Dallas, TX, is seeking an experienced, Allergist Physician or Nurse Practitioner to join their team. This role is open to board-certified and experienced Allergists. Winning culture, competitive pay, and great benefits offered!




Essential Duties Major responsibilities:

  • The allergist will see 10-15 patients per day on average.
  • The general workweek is M-F, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Allergists provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for a specified patient population.
  • The allergist works with a team of about 9-other providers with varying specialties.
  • The allergist is responsible for prescribing pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
  • Refers patients to specialists and relevant patient care components as appropriate.
  • Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required.
  • As appropriate to the position, the allergist participates in specified health promotion, education, and/or prevention programs.
  • Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care.
  • 100% out-patient.
  • Knowledge of current principles, methods, and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment in the area of expertise.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the health centers mission statement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO)
  • Master of Science in Nursing or equivalent PA program degree.
  • Authorized to work in the USA.
  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician. (ABAI)
  • Allergists must hold 2+ years of out-patient care experience.
  • Current licensure by the Texas Medical Board.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
