Orthopaedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant opening in Manchester, CT Full-Time | Inpatient Orthopaedic Surgery | OR First Assist | Rotating Schedule A collaborative inpatient Orthopaedic Surgery team in Manchester, Connecticut is seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to support orthopaedic surgical care, inpatient consults, and perioperative management. Opportunity Highlights:

  • Inpatient Orthopaedic Surgery APP role
  • Join an APP-led orthopaedic team supporting multiple orthopaedic surgeons
  • Work alongside experienced APPs with strong physician partnership
  • Responsibilities include OR first assist, pre-operative and post-operative care, ED consults, and inpatient consults
  • Case exposure includes joint arthroplasty, sports medicine, trauma, hand, and spine
  • Full-time rotating schedule
  • Night shifts are call from home

  • Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
  • Connecticut license or eligibility
  • Certified or board-eligible PA or Acute Care NP
  • 2+ years of Orthopaedic Surgery experience required
  • OR first-assist, inpatient orthopaedics, trauma, spine, hand, sports medicine, or arthroplasty experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, autonomy, and collaboration skills
