Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant opening in Hartford, CT Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Four 10-Hour Shifts | OR First Assist A Neurosurgery practice in Hartford, Connecticut is seeking a Surgical Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to support advanced cranial and spine surgical care. Opportunity Highlights:

  • Neurosurgery APP role with surgical and clinical responsibilities
  • Work closely with an experienced neurosurgeon through 1:1 training
  • OR first-assist responsibilities
  • Support advanced cranial and spine procedures
  • Surgical focus includes skull base procedures
  • Join an established practice with experienced Neurosurgery APP support
  • Opportunity for growth, mentorship, and professional development
  • Full-time schedule: four 10-hour shifts
  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • Hours may vary depending on case load

  • Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
  • Graduate of an accredited PA or Nurse Practitioner Master’s program preferred
  • Connecticut PA or APRN license, or eligibility
  • Certification or eligibility as a PA or nationally board-certified APRN
  • 1+ year of Surgical PA/APP experience in Neurosurgery or Orthopaedics preferred
  • OR first-assist experience preferred
  • Strong surgical interest, clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills
