Neonatal Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant opening in Manchester, CT Full-Time | Inpatient Neonatal Care | Nights/Flexible Schedule | No Call A community hospital in Manchester, Connecticut is seeking an experienced Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider to support well-baby nursery and NICU coverage in a collaborative inpatient setting. Opportunity Highlights:

  • Inpatient Neonatal APP role
  • Coverage includes well-baby nursery and NICU care
  • Responsibilities include daily patient management, admissions, discharge planning, and attendance at high-risk deliveries
  • Independent in-house coverage after 4:00 PM with 24/7 neonatology support
  • High level of autonomy within a supportive neonatal APP team
  • Perform advanced neonatal procedures, including intubation, umbilical line placement, lumbar punctures, chest tubes, thoracentesis, and neonatal resuscitation

  • Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • Connecticut license or eligibility
  • Certified or board-eligible PA or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
  • Neonatal, NICU, newborn nursery, pediatric acute care, or inpatient neonatal experience preferred
  • Experience with neonatal procedures preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, autonomy, communication, and collaboration skills
