Certified Nurse Midwife opening in Rapid City, SD Full-Time | OB/GYN | Women’s Health | 40 Hours An OB/GYN practice in Rapid City, South Dakota is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to provide pregnancy, labor and delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic care across the lifespan of women. • Full-time Certified Nurse Midwife opportunity
• Provide pre-pregnancy, prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic care
• Perform exams, obtain medical histories, and document clinical findings
• Order and interpret diagnostic procedures
• Manage women’s healthcare, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care
• Prescribe medications and injections within scope of practice, state law, and clinic guidelines
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, health, and illness prevention
• Collaborate with physicians in managing patient care
• Provide continuity of care between physician visits
• Maintain and review patient records and related clinical documentation

• Certified Nurse Midwife
• Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing
• South Dakota Registered Nurse license required
• South Dakota Certified Nurse Midwife certification required
• Basic Life Support certification required within 60 days of hire or transfer
• 3+ years of Registered Nurse experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and patient-centered care skills
