Bariatric Surgery Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant opening in Uncasville, CT Full-Time | Ambulatory Bariatrics | Monday-Friday | No Call A bariatric and surgical weight management practice in Southeastern Connecticut is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support ambulatory bariatric care, post-operative follow-up, and multidisciplinary patient management. Opportunity Highlights:

  • Ambulatory Bariatric Surgery APP role
  • Patient care includes new patient consults and short- and long-term post-operative follow-up
  • Coordinate care across multiple disciplines involved in bariatric and weight management treatment
  • In-office procedures include skin and soft tissue mass excision and complex wound care
  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • Flexible shift options: 5 8-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts
  • No call required
  • Primary site in Uncasville with possible travel to Waterford or Willimantic
  • Travel between sites required

  • Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • Graduate of an accredited PA or Nurse Practitioner Master’s program preferred
  • Connecticut PA or APRN license, or eligibility
  • Certification or eligibility as a PA or nationally board-certified ambulatory Nurse Practitioner
  • Clinical experience in surgery, weight management, or nutritional services strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, care coordination, clinical judgment, and collaboration skills
