Locum Tenens | Neurosurgery APP | No Call | Billings, MT Why This Role

  • Predictable 7 on / 7 off schedule with no call responsibilities
  • Work alongside a large neurosurgery team in a Level I trauma center
  • Focused inpatient neurosurgical care with ICU exposure
Assignment Details Start ASAP Ongoing coverage 7 on / 7 off schedule 12-hour shifts 7am–7pm or 7pm–7am 100% inpatient coverage with no OR responsibilities Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days Clinical Details Inpatient neurosurgery floor coverage Approximately 10 patients per shift Case mix varies between spinal and cranial cases Responsibilities include post-operative neurosurgical care and neurocritical care Coverage across inpatient floors, MICU, SICU, and ED consults Working with a team of 7 neurosurgeons EMR: Cerner Requirements Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Strong neurosurgery experience required Experience with post-operative neurosurgical management and neurocritical care Trauma experience required ACLS and BLS required No specific state license required to bid Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
