Locum Tenens | Neurosurgery PA | Call Only | Clearwater, FL Why This Role

  • Immediate need with expedited credentialing potential
  • Established neurosurgery team with experienced APP support
  • Call-only schedule with defined overnight hours
Assignment Details Start ASAP with ongoing coverage Call-only coverage Monday through Thursday Overnight beeper call from 9:00pm to 7:30am Call coverage occurs weekly Clinical Details Adult-only neurosurgery patient population Inpatient and outpatient exposure during call responsibilities Approximately 10 patients per shift when activated Comprehensive stroke–certified facility Not a trauma center Call response time requirement of 15 minutes EMR system Cerner Requirements Physician Assistant with neurosurgery experience Board Certified Active Florida license or IMLC Minimum 1 year experience as a Neurosurgery APP ACLS and BLS required Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
