Advanced Practice Provider Gynecology

About this role:
As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will join a large established team of physicians and APPs at Wasatch OB/GYN, located on campus at McKay-Dee Hospital and in outreach clinic in North Ogden, Utah. We offer a full range of obstetric and gynecologic care, dedicated to providing a comfortable, safe, and personal environment where each woman's healthcare needs can be met.

This APP will specialize in providing gynecologic patient care in clinic. The APP will carry their own patient panel, in addition to providing backup coverage for routine and follow-up obstetric and gynecology visits for other's patients when needed. While primarily working in the outpatient setting, the APP will also participate in inpatient rounding at McKay-Dee Hospital. This APP is not expected to assist in surgery.

Part time, the APP will typically be scheduled two ten-hour shifts per week, taking after-hours call on a very limited/as-needed basis. The APP will work at both of our clinics, located on campus of McKay-Dee Hospital and in North Ogden.

What you’ll bring:

• Current Utah license as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Physician Assistant (PA),
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Eligible for Utah Controlled Substance License.
• Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.

Ogden is located at the base of the Wasatch Mountains and is within a day’s drive of five national parks. Ogden boasts of its breathtaking mountain views and access to skiing/snowboarding (9 resorts within 60-75 min drive, including Snowbasin - site of the 2002 Olympic Downhill). There is no lack of summer activities either with several water recreational locations close by, Pineview Reservoir, Willard Bay, Ogden River Parkway, and only 10 miles from the Great Salt Lake. Within minutes of leaving McKay Dee Hospital you can find yourself mountain biking, hiking, fishing, kayaking, and rock climbing.
