A leading multispecialty practice in Essex County, NJ is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to oversee a 27-bed vent unit within its Long-Term Acute Care facility. Job Function:
Manage patients within a 27-bed subacute unit in collaboration with an established hospitalist team.
Oversee patients’ medical needs while physicians handle all ventilator management.
Work alongside a team of five hospitalist physicians, with an additional Pulmonary/Critical Care physician joining in fall 2026.
Utilize the MediTab EMR system for patient documentation and care coordination.
Follow a Monday–Friday schedule with flexible hours (7–3, 8–4, or 9–5).
Maintain a strong focus on quality care, supported by weekly reports outlining services provided and progress toward key quality initiatives such as referrals, wellness measures, and patient feedback.

Job Requirements:
Master’s degree as an ANP, FNP, or PA.
Must have experience in an acute care setting (hospitalist, critical care, etc.).
Board eligible or board certified.
Active New Jersey license required at the start of employment.
