Locums | Certified Nurse Midwife | No Call | PA (IMLC accepted) Why This Role

  • Short-term, defined date coverage with a predictable in-house schedule
  • Fast credentialing timeframe with temporary privileges available
  • Inpatient-only setting focused on full-scope midwifery care
Assignment Details Coverage dates include March 12, 13, 17, 22, and 23; April 10 and 21; May 8, 24, and 26; and June 5, 2026 Shift structure is 24-hour in-house coverage from 8a–8a Orientation is ideally completed the day prior to the first scheduled shift Clinical Details Practice setting is inpatient only with no outpatient or clinic responsibilities Coverage consists of full in-house shifts with no additional call Rounding is on assigned patients Scope includes assessment, diagnosis, and management of adolescent and adult females across pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, gynecologic needs, and care of the well newborn during the first 28 days of life CNMs may admit patients in consultation with an MD and may provide care in ICU settings per unit policy Emergency assessment, stabilization, and disposition are included per medical staff policy Requirements Board certified or board eligible Certified Nurse Midwife Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC eligibility Clean file preferred for expedited credentialing Comfort with full-scope inpatient midwifery care Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
