Locums | Nurse Practitioner | Inpatient + Call | Toledo, OH Why This Role

  • Ongoing locum need supporting a Level I trauma program during a recruitment gap
  • Opportunity to work autonomously with daily physician support and 24/7 backup
  • Exposure to inpatient post-op, ICU, and consult care across multiple affiliated sites
Assignment Details Coverage of approximately 10 days per month including two weekends Initial coverage January through April with potential extension Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00am–4:00pm Call required 10 days per month with a 1:3 call ratio Credentialing timeframe estimated at 60–90 days with potential for expedited processing Clinical Details Inpatient post-operative floor and ICU coverage with office-based responsibilities Average daily census of approximately 12 patients Adult and geriatric patient population Duties include rounding, coordination of care, pre-operative physical exams, suture removal, diagnosis and treatment of illness, ordering and interpreting tests, and prescribing Autonomous practice model with supervising physician rounding daily and available by phone Epic EMR Requirements ANCC or AANP certification required Active Ohio license required BLS and ACLS required Relevant training and experience required 100% clean background required with no exceptions Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
