Locums | Medical Oncology NP/PA | Inpatient + Outpatient – No Call | Santa Monica, CA Why This Role

  • Short-term oncology APP assignment with full-time weekday schedule and no call
  • Work across both clinic and inpatient settings supporting a busy surgical-oncology team
  • Collaborative role within a leading GI cancer surgery program
Assignment Details Start Date: 01/01/2026 (potential early start 12/15/2025) End Date: 03/01/2026 Coverage Type: No Call Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–5p (or 7a–4p) Practice Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient Patients per Day: 10–12 EMR: Epic Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Active California license BLS (ACLS preferred) Minimum 25 logged cases within the last two years Proficient in Epic Clean history Clinical Details Scope: Surgical and general oncology APP role within a hospital-based clinic Responsibilities: - Inpatient rounding and consults in the ER as needed - Outpatient clinic coverage (primarily Tuesdays and Fridays) - Manage patient calls, results, and post-op follow-ups - Collaborate with surgical oncologists and another APP who supports the OR Specialty Focus: GI Cancer Surgery and General Oncology Support: Shared APP team and hospital-based resources No nights, weekends, or call coverage required Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
