We are seeking experienced Primary Care Physicians for the Flight Surgeon position at Hill AFB in Utah.

These position are in anticipation of an upcoming government contract award.

Position Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday, 0700-1700
  • No on-call requirements
  • No federal holidays

Serve as the Primary Care Provider for Military aviation personnel & Provide health care to beneficiaries assigned to the Flight Medicine Clinic.

  • Aviation Medical Examiner
  • Successful completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Preventive Medicine, or Aerospace Medicine is mandatory.
  • Successful completion of a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Preventive Medicine, or Aerospace Medicine residency. 3 years of practicing Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Preventive Medicine, or Aerospace Medicine out of the last 4 years is required. Formal training in aerospace medicine with US Air Force or US Navy is highly desirable, but not mandatory. Experience in directing the evaluation of Air Force aviation personnel to assist in completing aeromedical waivers. Experience in directing and completing occupational examination requirements that would be seen on an Air Force base.
  • Board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine (AOBFM), or the American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM).
  • The Flight Surgeon shall possess a valid, full, unrestricted current licensure, from any U.S. jurisdiction, and must maintain the license in active status. The license shall be in good standing, and under no clinical restrictions, with the state licensure board, in any state in which a license is held or has been held within the last 10 years.
