Tenet Healthcare and Lakewood Regional Medical have a fantastic opportunity for a Full-time Physician Advisor. This position will be based at Lakewood Regional, but also share minimal cross-coverage at Placentia-Linda Hospital.

The Physician Advisor (PA) will be a key member of the hospital’s Executive Team and report directly to the hospital CEO and the Hospital Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and indirectly to the Tenet Physician Advisor Program Director based in Dallas, Texas. Position will be shared between Lakewood Regional Medical Center and Placentia Linda Medical Center at approximately 75% and 25% respectively.

• M.D. or D.O. with current California State Licensure in good standing
• Board Certification in a specialty recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties
• Previous experience as a Physician Advisor is preferred; will consider previous Administrative and/or Leadership experience
• Experience as a physician leader in a large system, hospital, integrated delivery system or leader of a large complex department
• Reputation as an excellent clinician with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in medical practice
• At least five years of clinical experience involving the delivery of direct patient care in a hospital setting
