We have an opportunity for a Director of Operations at a leading-edge provider of advanced primary care. This growing company is designed and managed to deliver their clients and members world-class direct primary care, lower overall health costs, and an unparalleled patient experience. Current clinic locations are in the Midwest with plans for aggressive nationwide expansion. Our client is open to this position being remote with the ability to easily travel to clinic locations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Support the daily operations of all health centers directly and through Regional Health Center Managers who report to the Director of Operations, including managing vendor relations and contracts, compliance with regulatory & environmental policies and procedures, and maintaining internal communications
  • Onboard new clients and employee groups and coordinate the buildout of new Health Centers
  • Maintain strong and responsive client relations, working in collaboration with leadership, Regional Health Center Managers, and clinical teams to assure that client goals are met
  • Nurture a high-performing workforce and ensure an exceptional patient experience
  • Develop strategic plans to implement sustainable and scalable processes that support our care model
  • Partner with the CMO to motivate and provide systemic support for outstanding physician performance and medical providers to offer engaging health care education, wellness programs, and deployment of best practices operational standards
  • Partner with the Chief Technology Officer to leverage the use of various technological tools to monitor, analyze, and report on clinic operational outcomes, obstacles, and solutions
  • Oversee human resources functions such as recruiting and onboarding of physicians and ancillary staff, coordination of staff training, and being the leader in recognizing individual and team achievements to maintain high employee satisfaction

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from a 4-year accredited college or university preferred. MD or DO degree a plus
  • 3 years of healthcare management experience
  • Hands-on experience in health care operations management, team building and improving team performance, and managing client relationships
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements pertaining to medical practices, including care quality documentation and reporting (HEDIS), and standards to ensure safety for members and staff
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
