Locums Psychiatrist Need in MN

• Near Minneapolis MN
• Start Date:
  • March - ongoing *possible perm placement
• Schedule:
  • Mon-Fri; 8-5
• Qualifications:
  • BC (or willing to work towards it).
  • Can diagnose mental health
  • Willing to obtain suboxone waiver if doesn’t have in hand
• Clinical Details:
  • 8-13 patients per day. Admission are done by hospitalists; provider is responsible for a combination of new patient and ongoing evaluations
  • Admissions and discharges are scheduled
  • 24 bed inpatient unit; 14 bed medical withdrawal unit
  • Unit runs at 100% occupancy
  • Call responsibility but very low level (phone only). Provider will be second line of defense in call scenario
• Support staff includes: nurses, licensed drug and alcohol counselors, chaplains, psychology, Hospital medicine providers.
