Academic Orthopedic Hand Surgery position in Western Kentucky. State of the Art Hospital! JOB# 54621
Job Details:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon
- Must be fellowship trained in Orthopedic Hand
- Active Kentucky license or willing to apply for one
- Open to experienced candidates and new grads!
- 1-2 days per week of Outreach
- Walk-in clinic – Sports Medicine physician tries to cover – if he’s not there, other physicians assist with covering.
- New physicians can assist with the walk-in clinic to build his/her own practice
- You will assist with Teaching Residents and Students for the new family medicine residency program that started this year!
- Staff Call of 1:7---Office Call of 1:5, weekends; they typically handle their own patients during the week – they do try to align office call with staff call
- Average patients per day: 25-30
- Must be willing to perform General Ortho procedures if needed
- New Surgeon is needed due to growth and community needs
