ANESTHESIOLOGY in LOUISIANA (50 miles from New Orleans)

- Coverage dates needed: (We can break this out into one week at a time if a physician is not able to cover all shifts)

**March 18-April 1** Urgent need

April 22 – 28

June 10-July 12

** Must have LA State, DEA, and CDS licenses and board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology. **

• Hours: 6:30 am – 2:30 pm Monday – Friday

• 1 night of call during the week (starting at 2:30 pm) and cover weekend call – if weekend call is not possible, we can work around that.

• If the provider is working for multiple weeks in a row, one weekend of call per month would be required.

• Post call day, the provider is the first one to leave.

• Average volume – 15-20 patients per day, with 100% CRNA supervision (17 CRNA’s)

• Two OR locations on site – Main OR (11 rooms, 1 Hybrid room for Structural Heart procedures) and Women’s Center OR (3 rooms)

• TE certification or cardiac anesthesia experience is preferred but not required.

• Must be comfortable in all areas of anesthesiology –Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, ENT, ENDO, Women’s Services (including epidurals), limited Peds volume. If no Cardiothoracic/Vascular Surgery, EP studies experience is available we can work around this.

• Must be proficient in central line placement and regional anesthesia skills

• The doctor does not have to be on site after surgery cases are over, but does need to be within 20 minutes of the hospital.
