The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine is seeking a Rheumatologist. Applicant must have an M.D. degree or equivalent, from an approved LCME medical school and satisfactory completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program and Board Certified/Eligible in Rheumatology. Candidate must possess or be eligible for a Texas medical license, qualified to hold a faculty appointment in the UTRGV School of Medicine and appropriate hospital staff appointments.

Working within the UTHealth Rio Grande Valley mission, the Department has outstanding educational and scholarly activities for medical students and a growing Internal Medicine program. Demonstration of strong commitment to the education of residents and medical students is essential. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments, qualifications and experience.
