Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn is in need of an Infectious Disease Physician to:
- Inpatient consultation, outpatient consultation and ongoing care, teaching of IM residents and medical students
- Supervise IM residents
- Liaison to Infection Control Service
- Supervise planned outpatient antibiotic infusion program
- Assist in expansion of consultation service to all patients with positive blood and body fluid bacterial cultures
Preferred
- Experience in infectious control and antibiotic Stewardship
- Teaching experience
- Academic positivity a PLUS
- Interest in outpatient administration of IV Antibiotics
Required:
- Board Certified/Eligible (within 5 yrs of training)-ID
- Board Certified/Eligible (within 5 yrs of training)-IM
- NYS License, unrestricted DEA, BLS
