Physician position in Albany, New York.


The physician will possess a practitioner license by at least one of the states within the continental United States, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or United States territories, preferably with a master of public health degree.

The physician is responsible for conducting in-depth reviews of evidence-based clinical studies and guidelines from peer-reviewed literature, writing reports, and completing presentations as outlined in the deliverables above.

Duties:

Review or audit medical records for completeness and accuracy by looking at various pieces of documentation.

Seeking a physician to conduct systematic reviews and coordinate in-service meetings to educate the medical staff on proper documenting procedures and evidence based medicine.

Look at each individual medical records to check for missing documentation

Must also keep abreast of new coding, government, and insurance guidelines.
