JOB DESCRIPTION:
Medical Center in Indiana is seeking a program director for our ACGME accredited Family Medicine Program. Enjoy a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for medical education and training residents combined with a strong focus and commitment to ensuring patient care remains a priority.
Primary Responsibilities:
Approximately 50% administration and 50% clinical
Oversee and ensure the quality of didactic and clinical education is maintained
Establish strategic direction of the program, standards, quality, and reputation
Residency program practice management, overall residency operations, and resident oversight
Program recruitment, interviews, and selection of residents
Recruit and oversee faculty and clinical rotations
Maintain ongoing clinical activity in Family Medicine
Teach residents through clinical and didactic work
Requirements:
Documented educational and/or administrative experience required
Board certified in Family Medicine
Clinically practicing physician
Experience in graduate medical education required

Our inpatient and ambulatory programs are accredited by Joint Commission and continue to be recognized nationally in multiple areas including award winning centers of excellence by American Heart Association, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and the Leapfrog Group on quality and clinical safety practices; HealthGrades, the Society of Chest Pain Centers, and most recently, became the first in Indiana to receive full Atrial Fibrillation with Electrophysiology Services Accreditation status from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care (SCPC), an Institute of the American College of Cardiology.
