About Us
AtlantiCare’s Family Medicine Residency Program is an ACGME-accredited 4-4-4 program rooted in a community-based, patient-centered approach. Residents and faculty treat patients at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center (ARMC) and the FQHC continuity clinic across the street. ARMC is home to three physician residency programs and one fellowship program.
Your Role
As a core faculty member, you will help train the next generation of family physicians. You will have a hand in every aspect of medical education—from the clinic to the classroom to curriculum design.
Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching & Mentorship: Educate and guide residents in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Clinical Practice: Provide high-quality, full-spectrum family medicine care at our FQHC-affiliated clinic.
- Curriculum & Program Development: Help shape our residency curriculum with an emphasis on community health, health disparities, and evidence-based practice.
- Scholarly & Quality Improvement: Lead or support initiatives in QI, community research, or population health.
- Community Engagement: Partner with local organizations to extend health education and services beyond clinic walls.

Minimum Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board Certification in Family Medicine (or Board Eligible within one year)
- Eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey
- Demonstrated commitment to underserved populations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in community-based teaching or FQHC settings
