Job description The Bleeding & Clotting Disorders Institute (BCDI) seeks a Vice President of Research (VP of Research) to join their industry-leading team in Peoria, Illinois (IL).

Research Overview:
- Observational, Phase I, II, and III trials
- Hemophilia Studies: AHAEmi, Chess US Study, JSBUS-BCDI XI, OBS17523, and OBS18140
- Antithrombin Study: ATN-106
- ITP Studies: PRN1008-010B and SCINR
- Von Willebrand Disease Studies: BCDI-XII, Baxalta 071102, TAK-577-3001, Blood works VIP, and Zimmerman

Ideal traits:
- Experience with clinical and translational research in Hematology
- Option to focus 100% on research or have a mixture of research and clinical time
- Conducting, analyzing, and reporting research findings
- Grant writing and funding acquisition for research projects
- Seeking an MD/DO or PhD Candidate - MD/DO candidates with training in Pediatric or Adult Hematology are preferred

Compensation:
- Salary in the range of $100,000-$140,000 - Negotiable
- Physician candidates with clinical practice will earn a salary in the range of $225,000-$280,000 - Negotiable
- Comprehensive platinum level benefits and a retirement plan with a 5% match
