About the Position:
- Full-time, hospital employed position.
- This inpatient focused, Faculty role is a combination (80 clinical/40 faculty) of precepting, admin time and direct patient care; meaning you would carry your own panel of patients.
- Enjoy working with a collaborative GME team of physicians, coordinators and staff.
- J-1 and H-1B Visa sponsorship.
Requirements
- 3 years’ experience in psychiatry is preferred; however new grads are eligible to apply.
- Residency program leadership or faculty experience is preferred.
- Must be American Board Certified.
About Our Psychiatry Residency Program
This position supports a new adult psychiatry residency 3-year program established in 2025 within a Graduate Medical Education program founded in 2013. The program welcomed its inaugural class of four residents in July 2025 and will continue to grow over time. The faculty member will play a key role in resident education, program development, and the expansion of the residency with additional residents in future years.

About Our Inpatient Psych Unit
Our inpatient psychiatric unit operates in partnership with Horizon Behavioral Health Services under a master service agreement and functions as an additional unit of the hospital. The 24/7 inpatient service is housed in a newly built, Onvida Health-owned 24-bed facility located at Araby Road and East 31st Street, which opened on February 6, 2022. The unit is staffed by one physician serving as Medical Director and two advanced practice providers, with standard coverage Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Compensation
- Strong base salary + wRVU productivity incentive compensation + Eligible Annual quality incentive compensation, additional 5% of base salary.
