Dermatopathologist

We are looking for a licensed Dermatopathologist for lab in Boston or Dallas. Full scope of Dermatopathology services in a subspecialty-oriented reference laboratory environment. Join other experienced dermatopathologists and share responsibilities that include interpretation of dermatopathology related tissue biopsies, resections, and frozen sections (where applicable). Provide subject matter professional expertise for analyzing diseases to provide the highest quality, most accurate, and clinically relevant pathologic diagnoses.

Type of Work:

  • Evaluate surgical Dermatopathology specimens and render insightful and comprehensive diagnoses to enable clinicians to best treat their patients.
  • Incorporate clinical pathological correlation in reports.
  • Participate in laboratory management activities as required.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to laboratory personnel as needed.
  • Participate in the educational, clinical research, and developmental efforts of the Dermatopathology Division.
  • Assist the national marketing and sales force in maintaining and expanding the referral physician base.
  • Provide consultations for peer pathologists on cases as requested or needed.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (or equivalent medical professional degree) with dermatopathology fellowship training.
  • Board Certification in AP or AP/CP by the American Board of Pathology or American Osteopathic Board of Pathology.
  • Dermatopathology board certification or board eligible.
  • Hold or eligible to obtain unrestricted medical licensure.
