THE ROLE

  • Mobile wound care provider serving rural Minnesota
    • High autonomy + advanced clinical work
    • Non-traditional setting (mobile clinic)
    • Strong support via telemedicine + specialists

SCHEDULE

  • Start: ASAP
    • 2–3 days/week
    • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • 6-month minimum contract (through Sept 2026)

LOCATION

  • Based out of Foley, MN
    • Travel to surrounding rural communities

COMPENSATION

  • $75–$95 per hour
    • Consistent daytime schedule

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Treat complex wounds (diabetic, arterial, venous, pressure)
    • Perform bedside procedures independently
    • Coordinate urgent referrals when needed
    • Collaborate with vascular, podiatry, surgery, and hospital teams
    • Use telehealth for real-time physician support
    • Complete EMR documentation

PROCEDURES (HIGH VOLUME)

  • Wound care + wound vacs
    • Sharp debridement
    • I&D (abscess)
    • ABI/TBI interpretation
    • Wound + bone biopsies
    • Total Contact Casting (TCC)
    • Limb preservation care

REQUIREMENTS

  • NP or PA – Active MN license
    • WOC Certification (REQUIRED)
    • BLS (required)
    • DEA (before start)
    • ACLS (preferred)

IDEAL BACKGROUND

  • Strong wound care experience
    • Comfortable working independently
    • Experience with high-risk patients (diabetic/vascular)
    • Confident with procedures
    • Comfortable in rural/mobile environments
    • Team-oriented with remote collaboration
