Job Responsibilities

  • Treat and manage vascular and pressure ulcers, as well as diabetic ulcers.
  • Provide comprehensive wound management and initiate preventative measures.
  • Oversee the application of topical therapies and educate patients and their support systems on care techniques.
  • Supervise hyperbaric oxygen treatment and implement preventative actions to reduce ulcer incidences.
  • Provide instruction on proper wound dressing and educate on ulcer prevention and treatment.

Qualifications

  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS preferred for HBO
  • Active OH license required

Working Hours

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Skills

  • Proficient in using EMR systems, preferably Epic
  • Strong communication skills for patient and support education
  • Ability to manage a high volume of patients per day (15-30)
  • Competency in various wound care treatments, such as negative pressure-assisted wound closure and skin grafting
