Our client, a nationally renowned academic medical center and integrated healthcare delivery system, is currently hiring a Senior Physician Assistant (PA), Wound Care.
Job Responsibilities
- Join a comprehensive Wound Care Program
- Treat wound care patients including obtaining patient histories and performing physical examinations; ordering and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; formulating a diagnosis; developing and implementing a treatment plan; monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions; assisting at surgery; offering counseling and education to meet patient needs; making appropriate referrals
- General supervision and oversight of Physician Assistants
Qualifications
1+ years wound care experience preferred
Registered as a Physician’s Assistant in New York State
NCCPA certified
Wound Care or Burn experience strongly preferred
Wound Care Certification preferred
Hyperbaric Certification preferred
