**Wound Care Advanced Practitioner needed in California** Located in Eureka, CA Coastal Northern California - Permanent position - We offer positions for both full-time and part-time with growing opportunities. - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Experience outside of training as an NP required - No wound care experience required; as we certify you in 2-3 weeks.. - We offer positions for both full-time part-time with growing opportunities. - W2, PT/FT WORK/LIFE BALANCE (NO CALLS EVENINGS, WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS, FACILITIES NATIONWIDE AND NO PRIOR WOUND CARE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED AS WE CERTIFY YOU IN 2-3 WEEKS). Practicing primarily, but not limited to, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), assisted living facilities (ALFs), long-term care and rehabilitation hospitals as per the schedule provided by our respective territory Regional Manager (RM). Our wound certified educators train, educate, and guide our providers and client facilities on the most efficacious wound care treatments and follow up. As a result, client facilities realize improved wound healing results, improved survey scores and NTA reimbursement under PDPM. **Highlights** -Hiring both part-time 2 days/week and full-time 4-5 days/week (benefits for FT only) -Hours: Between Monday-Friday ~7am to 4pm; No Call evenings, weekends or holidays -Uncapped W-2 earning potential; Monthly income variable per provider - directly proportionate to documentation, number of patient visits per month, number of facilities willing to cover, etc. -Mileage reimbursement based on standard IRS guidelines -We serve as your office and administration so you can spend more time with your family! **Responsibilities** -Round weekly at assigned facilities within territory -Diagnose patient conditions via physical examination and/or telemedicine -Perform medical procedures i.e. debridements as necessary -Communicate and collaborate on findings and treatments with facility clinical staff -Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals -Document each patient visit in company EMR - APRIMA and maintain patient medical records on company assigned laptop computer -Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as necessary **Qualifications** -Board Certified/Board Eligible -Active, unrestricted state medical license -DEA license -Valid driver license -Ability to build and maintain rapport with facility staff and patients -Proficiency documenting EMR w/ strong attention to detail
