Urology Advanced Practice Provider – Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Position Type: Full-Time
Overview
Join a hospital-employed urology practice providing care to an independent patient population. This role offers a strong balance of autonomy and collaboration, with opportunities to manage patients directly while maintaining a favorable work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
* Evaluate and manage patients within a urology specialty practice
* Diagnose and treat urologic conditions in an outpatient setting
* Develop and implement treatment plans
* Provide patient education and follow-up care
* Participate in on-call coverage as first call (as needed)
* Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
Schedule & Practice Details
* Full-time position
* No weekend office hours
* No operating room assist responsibilities
* Opportunity for on-call participation
Practice Environment
* Hospital-employed position
* Independent patient panel with specialty focus

Qualifications
* Master’s Degree in Nursing (NP) or accredited Physician Assistant program
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a urology or related specialty
* Licensed or eligible for licensure in Vermont
* NP certification (ANCC or equivalent) or PA certification (NCCPA)
* Additional certifications as required (ACLS, PALS, etc., depending on department)
