Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urologic Oncology Surgery team in Jacksonville, Florida.
This is a surgical oncology-focused APP role — not general urology — offering hands-on OR experience and longitudinal cancer care within a premier, academic-caliber cancer center.
Position Highlights
• First assist in robotic, laparoscopic, and open urologic oncology cases
• Manage post-operative surgical patients (rounding, wound care, pain management, discharge planning)
• Evaluate new consults and follow established patients
• Participate in multidisciplinary oncology care teams
• Monday–Friday schedule
• Shared night and weekend call (home call during week; inpatient rounding/OR coverage on weekends)
Patient Population
Adult patients with prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular malignancies — providing care across the full continuum from diagnosis through survivorship.

Qualifications
• Master’s degree from accredited NP or PA program
• Florida APRN or PA license (or eligibility)
• National certification required
• 1–2 years surgical first assist or RNFA experience preferred
