Description
We are seeking a motivated and skilled NP or PA to join a growing Urology team in Bronx, NY. This full-time opportunity offers a mix of outpatient care, inpatient rounding (if applicable), and procedural support. You will collaborate closely with urologists to provide comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of urologic conditions in a supportive, multispecialty environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform initial and follow-up evaluations for urology patients
• Conduct detailed histories and physical examinations
• Order and interpret labs, urinalysis, and imaging studies
• Assist with minor office procedures (catheter placement, cystoscopy support, bladder scans)
• Provide pre- and post-operative care and surgical first assist (where permitted)
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice
• Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment, and recovery plans
• Participate in inpatient rounds and consults (if applicable)
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
Qualifications
• Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program
• Active New York NP or PA license
• National Certification (NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC)
• DEA registration with prescriptive authority
• BLS & ACLS required
• 1–2 years of urology or surgical experience preferred (new grads considered with strong rotations)
Working Hours
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Day Schedule (Clinic & Procedural Mix)
