Job description
We are seeking an experienced Urology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative and patient-centered urology team in Rutland, VT. This full-time role offers the opportunity to practice at the top of license within a supportive health system, delivering high-quality urologic care to a diverse patient population.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience in the specialty area being sought
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or graduate of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant program
- Nurse Practitioner: Registered with the Vermont State Education Department. Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent certifying body
- Physician Assistant: Registered with the Vermont State Board of Medical Practice. Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Unit-specific certifications as required, which may include ACLS, TNCC, PALS, and ENPC, per departmental framework
- Completion of endorsed patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint program certification per department guidelines
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a team-oriented approach to care
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $125,000 – $150,000, commensurate with experience
