Outstanding urology team in popular Northern Virginia area is seeking a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join their growing practice!
This group is very well-versed in training and they are considering PA and NP candidates with experience as well as highly motivated recent graduates. Work alongside an award-winning team of physicians and APPs and receive excellent training from the some of the most renowned urologists in the state!
Description:
- Full-time permanent position - Urology
- Monday-Friday schedule
- Mix of outpatient and inpatient duties
- Pre-op and post-op visits, new and existing patients, perform in-office procedures
- Provide care for same-day urgent patients
- Perform specialized urology procedures such as catheter irrigation, catheter placement, evaluation of drains, InterStim (bladder acupuncture), urodynamics, pelvic floor physical therapy (training provided)
- Assist in robotic surgery (if interested)
- Hospital consults, rounds and discharges
- Perform inpatient procedures
- Light call schedule shared among all providers
Qualifications:
- Virginia Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
- Experience working in urology or other relevant specialty
- Recent graduate with relevant clinical rotations
- Proficiency in Spanish (preferred)
